Lose Weight Fast - 3 Crucial Things You Should Know

lose weight, weight loss, burn the fat, fat loss, easy ways to lose weight, fat loss programs, burn the fat feed the muscle, obesity

By Chloe Bishop

Most people nowadays are looking for fast and easy ways to
lose weight. We long to have lean, toned and attractive
physique and yet we are not willing to work for it.

This overwhelming demand for easy ways to lose weight fast
is exactly what's fueling the scams that many diet and
weight loss companies are perpetuating.

Do these sound familiar:

"Simply peel and stick to burn fat and lose weight!" (ad
selling diet patches)

"This product will change your body in 4 minutes a day!"

"Forget about long, difficult exercises! We have a range of
treatments and surgeries to make you lose weight..."

"Take this pill, go to bed... wake up skinny! It's magic!"

If you really think about it - can you honestly believe
their promises are true?

Out of desperation, many people actually buy into these
fantasies of a quick, easy, and miraculous physical
transformation.

Sure they are just doing their jobs - but don't you think
you deserve to make a well-informed and educated purchasing
decision?

They say when it sounds too good to be true, then it
probably is. So before you fall for any of the hype again,
remember these 3 things being kept from you by most
marketers of quick fix weight loss solutions:

1. "Weight loss" is not necessarily beneficial.

Most (if not all) body wraps, slimming teas, and toning
creams work mainly by eliminating water from your body.

Losing water changes nothing about how much body fat you
have. Remember that your body is 75% water. It's sick that
their strategy for making you lose weight is by dehydrating
you.

But you gotta hand it to them - dehydration IS an easy way
to lose weight fast! Clever, indeed.

Losing weight by dehydrating yourself is obviously
ineffective, and the weight loss effect hardly lasts.
Buying these miracle cures is just like patching up a hole
on your shirt - it may patch up the hole, but it doesn't
make you look good nor solve the problem.

2. Starving yourself actually makes you fatter!

Another "easy ways to lose weight fast" solutions are pills
and potions designed to make you lose appetite. An extremely
low-calorie diet can work in the short term, but over a
prolonged period of time, our body's starvation response
mechanism kicks in, ultimately causing our bodies to hoard
fat.

When you starve yourself, you may lose weight at the start
due to the big calorie deficit, but eventually your body
thinks it's starving to death so it switches to survival
mode. When this happens, it burns off your muscles for fuel,
conserves energy by decreasing your metabolism and - horror
of horrors - keeps your body fat.

Is that what you really want?

3. Many quick fix solutions don't work for the long-term.

Of course, when you DO lose weight through bogus means and
by using ineffective products, in order to keep losing
weight you're made to think you have to keep consuming their
products. And that's exactly what marketers and vendors are
training you to do: to keep buying their stuff!

Considering this reason alone, you may want to ask yourself
if it's really worth it.

Conclusion

The problem with weight loss is that losing weight could
mean just losing water or muscle. So instead of having
weight loss as your goal, aim for fat loss instead.

An truly effective fat loss program includes the right
combination of personalized nutrition, exercise and mental
training.

Using natural methods, you may need to pay a higher price
with your sweat and resilience to see results, but the
benefits are worth it.

The truth is that there are no magical and miraculous
solutions that can instantly give us the body we want. If
there are, then why is obesity a continuously growing
problem?

Recommendation

Many people fail to lose fat effectively because they don't
know what to do or how to do it. I say that the best way to
to find out what works for you is by educating yourself
using reliable sources and applying the principles you've
learned.

The best resource I've found about fat-burning and muscle
building is Tom Venuto's Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle
program.

I myself have used Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle, and while
the results had been remarkable (I reached my target of 15%
body fat within 84 days), what really worked for me was the
whole process of how I succeeded. When I read Burn the Fat,
I finally 'got' it, and from then on I was unstoppable. I
had everything I needed to make it work: the motivation, the
knowledge, and a proven way to find my very own fat loss
formula.

Drug Risk List Released by FDA

UPDATE: 1 July
Chantix and Zyban (Wellbutrin) to Receive Boxed Warnings for Serious Neuropsychiatric Symptoms
July 1, 2009 — The smoking cessation drugs varenicline (Chantix) and bupropion (Zyban and generics) will receive new boxed warnings on their labeling regarding the risk for serious neuropsychiatric symptoms such as changes in behavior, hostility, agitation, depressed mood, suicidal thoughts and behavior, and attempted suicide, the US Food and Drug Administration said today.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
from 6/5/09, One of 8 NHN articles on Chantix et al -
I am not sure why the public is so keen on health insurance under the same scheme as is prevalent today with this type of reporting, as well as no inclusion of choice and no mention of coverage for safe supplements that prevent and reverse medical diagnosed conditions.

You would wonder too if you talked to the people who contact me and hear their horror stories with drugs and medicine.

I'd suggest we need a model based on the health freedom law in Idaho, one I helped write the update to in 2003-04.
FDA releases list of potential drug risksBy Lisa Richwine, Jun 4, 2009
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. regulators on Thursday listed two dozen drugs, including weight-loss medicines and sleep disorder pills, that it is at an early stage of reviewing for potential safety problems.

Many of the issues have been previously disclosed, but remain under review by the Food and Drug Administration.

The FDA said it was checking Pfizer Inc's smoking cessation drug Chantix for possible risk of accidental injury, vision impairment and other issues, and Cephalon Inc's sleep disorder drugs Nuvigil and Provigil for a potential of serious skin reactions.

Other drugs listed included orlistat, a weight-loss drug sold by Roche Inc as the prescription product Xenical and by GlaxoSmithKline Plc as the over-the-counter drug Alli. The FDA said it was continuing to evaluate liver toxicity reports for orlistat.

The FDA also said Pfizer's overactive bladder drug Detrol was under investigation for reports of Stevens-Johnson syndrome, a serious skin reaction.

The FDA releases a quarterly list of safety probes as part of an effort to inform the public about early investigations of potential side effects that have been reported. The list released on Thursday covers October through December 2008.

The problems are potential safety issues and their appearance on the list "does not mean that FDA has identified a causal relationship" with the drug, the agency said.

Roche spokesman Terry Hurley, commenting on the listing of Xenical, said available data "does not suggest that orlistat is causally related" to liver problems, noting obesity itself is a risk factor for liver injury.

Glaxo spokeswoman Mary Anne Rhyne also said "no causal relationship ... has been established" between Alli and hepatitis, a liver disease.

Pfizer spokeswoman Sally Beatty said the maker of Chantix evaluates any reports of health problems and "as with all our medicines, we work with the FDA to ensure our labeling reflects the latest safety information."

The FDA had said last year it was taking a closer look at Chantix after reports of accidents, vision loss and other problems in hundreds of patients

A Cephalon spokeswoman did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Nuvigil and Provigil. Serious skin reactions were identified as an issue with the drugs in 2007 and the FDA continues to study the matter, the agency said.

A spokeswoman for Glaxo could not immediately be reached for comment on the listing of Alli.

Bristol-Myers Squibb Co's HIV drug, Sustiva, was listed due to one report of an eye-related birth defect. A description of the case was added to the drug's prescribing instructions in March 2009, the FDA said.

Bristol-Myers spokeswoman Cristi Barnett said the drug's label states it should only be used in pregnant women, "if the benefit to the patient justifies the potential risk to the fetus."

The FDA also is probing pancreatitis with Bayer AG's contraceptive Yasmin, the agency's list said. Bayer spokeswoman Rose Talarico said the listing "was not prompted by any change in the existing safety profile" of Yasmin and the company "continues to work with the FDA to ensure that the most up-to-date and accurate safety information" is included in the drug's label.

The FDA posted the list on its Website at http://www.fda.gov/Drugs/GuidanceComplianceRegulatoryInformation/Surveillance/AdverseDrugEffects/ucm161063.htm.

The biggest nutritional mistake EVER

Yesterday we discussed that you need a nutritional template if you're truly committed to having the healthiest and most attractive body possible.

A nutritional template just means, a meal plan.

A lot of people make the mistake of thinking they need a SPECIAL PLAN designed to meet their individual needs and that is a MISTAKE, at first.

Eventually you can incorporate some more advanced nutrition techniques but if you're not flaunting a ripped six-pack, right now, or exuberating all-day energy, you are probably swimming in water too deep.

===================
You've Been Lied To
===================

We've both been conditioned to believe that you need a nutrition plan different than everyone else. You're right, partly!

You've been told to worry about calories, macronutrient rations and other advanced details in the beginning, which in my opinion is wasted energy.

Focusing on these details is like working on your finishing sprint in the marathon when you're not even in shape to run 1 mile yet.

The best meal plan is based on BALANCE and VARIETY which is exactly catered to your physiological make up. You can't get more personalized than that!

==========
The TRUTH:
==========

At the start, EVERYONE'S nutritional quest should begin at the SAME starting line.

Plainly put: You Need A SIMPLE Nutritional Plan You
Can Implement IMMEDIATELY, COMPLETE With The CORRECT,
Foundational Nutritional Principles.

That's why I want you to download Vince DelMonte's "Done-For-You" Fat Loss Meal Plans available at

It's critical that you put your meal plan into action TODAY - not tomorrow, not next week or next month.

I love these plans because they are SO EASY to implement your very next meal and continue until you have developed the habits necessary to see results so that you stay motivated and finally perfect your body and health.

===================================
The Best Part Of Your Own Meal Plan
===================================

There are no rules to follow, complex formulas, expensive supplements, ridiculous macronutrient ratios that you need to concern yourself with.

Everything is already DONE-FOR-YOU!

Don't get me wrong, once you get to being a few percent away from "camera-ready" and "contest-ready" shape, you're going to have to incorporate some more advanced tricks but for now, it's best you accept the 3-phase meal plans as the best place to start.

Sexy Andres Mercado

Boyish good-looks makes Andres Mercado one of my favourite hunks!

Where's your nutritional template?

What could buying a wedding suit have to do with losing body fat?

A lot more than you think.

Especially when it comes to *Fat Loss Nutrition.*

I was just chatting with muscle and six-pack author, Vince DelMonte and he discovered some interesting similarities to help you BLAST YOUR FAT FASTER while he was shopping for a wedding suit.

Here's what Vince had to share:

"I always believed that creating a custom tailored wedding suit was an extremely complex, ultra expensive and required an overly experienced and skilled tailor. Yet, I found a tailor who made the process SIMPLE.

I discovered that every custom suit begins with a SINGLE TEMPLATE. Over time the and multiple fitting and modifications, eventually the suit becomes exquisitely tailored.

=============================
My revelation can be plainly put,
the perfect suit begins as NOTHING
MORE than a one-size-fits all template.
==============================

Nutritional perfection (fat loss and muscle building), requires the same.

You need to begin with a simple, basic nutritional template and test it out; tweaking it according to the results you experience, and only you.

Only by beginning here can you arrive at the final destination - a perfect nutrition and eventually a perfect body.

=====================
There is NO magic diet plan
=====================

As you have learned the past 2-weeks, there is no magic diet book or test or "eat right for your blood type" kind of solution.

In our combined 20-years of experience in the nutrition field, the best way you can get your best body ever is to follow a meal plan that is based on concrete nutritional principles plus your own informed trial-and-error.

In other words, you begin with a BASIC NUTRITIONAL PLAN, based on the best nutrition information available, test it and modify the nutritional plan based on if you're gaining muscle or losing fat.

The problem is that the 90% of the nutrition info available is CONFUSING, CONTRADICTING and CONSUMING.

Which is completely unnecessary and ridiculous.

============================
Getting the perfect body and perfect
meal plan must begin with an ORIGIN
============================

If you're not prepared to put in some time, effort, discipline and pay attention to a few details, then getting and keeping a rock hard body (forever) may NOT be in the cards for you.

Sorry.

But if you agree that you need a BASIC TEMPLATE that you can begin with from which to depart, a simple "done-for-you" template that start, test and modify (if even necessary).

Today I want to DIRECT YOU to the best FAT LOSS MEAL PLANS I've ever seen. Vince DelMonte and Empowered Nutrition want to give you a complete 3-phase system called, "Done-For-You" Fat Loss Meal Plans.

Every caloric amount is included. 84-days of variety for each plan. Grocery lists, delicious recipes and more.

An Introduction To Cystic Fibrosis

conditions and diseases, cystic fibrosis, genetic diseases, genetic disorder, heart arrhythmia, lung disease, pneumothorax, respiratory disease, Image via Wikipedia

Cystic fibrosis has been around since medieval times. Infants in the middle ages who had “salty” skin were considered bewitched because they normally died during infancy. The disease is sometimes fatal, inherited, chronic, and progressive. There is no known cure for this genetic disease. Cystic fibrosis normally affects the digestive and respiratory organs of the body. Thick mucus collects in the passageways and lungs in the respiratory system and blocks the ducts that allow digestive enzymes to reach the small intestine.

Children and adults alike can be affected by cystic fibrosis. Sweat glands are affected and most of the time the reproductive system is also affected. Cystic fibrosis is a disease that is inherited when both parents are the carrier of a recessive gene. The CFTR gene is a recessive gene caused by mutations in that gene.

Caucasians are more at risk than any other ethnic group and the risk goes higher if their ancestors came from the Northern part of Europe. Although cystic fibrosis is a mainly Caucasian inherited disease it does cross into other ethnic groups.

It wasn’t until 1989 that the gene responsible for cystic fibrosis was found. Once that gene was discovered the number of babies born with cystic fibrosis started going down. There are nearly twelve million people in the United States that are unaware they are carriers of this mutant gene.

Treatment options vary according to each individual and the severity of the symptoms. The most common areas affected by cystic fibrosis are the respiratory and digestive systems. Symptoms also vary for each individual with cystic fibrosis. Symptoms can include too much salt in sweat. This will cause an upset in the balance of minerals in the blood. A disturbance in the balance of minerals can cause heart arrhythmia problems and shock can be the result.

Thick masses of mucus can build up in the lungs and intestines causing malnutrition, slower than normal growth, chronic infections, problems with breathing and eventually lung damage. The cause of death of most cystic fibrosis patients is lung disease.

There are many other medical problems that cystic fibrosis can create. Chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, heart enlargement, chronic cough and pneumothorax are additional severe problems cystic fibrosis can cause. Pneumothorax is caused when lung tissue ruptures and air gets trapped between the chest wall and the lung. Coughing up blood is another severe complication when the disease attacks the lungs.

Complications can occur in the intestinal tract also. A cystic fibrosis patient may experience intense stomach pain, excessive gas, bloating, and diarrhea or bowel obstruction. Other serious complications are rectal prolapse. That occurs when the patient has chronic diarrhea or a bowel obstruction. Gall bladder disease, pancreatic inflammation, liver and diabetes may also be severe complications of this incurable disease. Staying as healthy and fit as possible is one of the best favors you can do for yourself.
