Vita-Mix is sponsoring Running America, a major event that is also being filmed as a documentary. The 45-day, 3,100 mile run across America is an attempt to break the world record by world-class runners Charlie Engle and Marshall Ulrich.
The route stretches across 11 U.S. states including a kickoff in California, then through Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and ends in New York. The race begins September 12 and ends October 27.

Check out Charlie’s last documentary! Last year he was featured in another documentary entitled Running The Sahara in which he led a team of two other runners 4,300 miles through the Sahara Desert in 111 consecutive days. That event raised awareness of the H20 Africa movement about the water crisis in Africa.
